Capt. William Singer Kalloch
Capt. Singer Kalloch commanded the schooner DELAWARE from 1870-1882. He owned this vessel along with
his brother, Capt. Alden G. Kalloch and half-brother, Capt. James Edwin Kalloch. In 1882, the schooner ELIZA LEVANSELER
was built for his command in Thomaston. He remained with this vessel until he retired in 1906. He was considered to be
one of the better coastal navigators on the East Coast.
