The Sixty Fourth [66th*]
Annual Reunion of the Kalloch family was held at the home of Mr. & Mrs. A.
D. Kalloch, Thomaston, August 30, 1933 where seventy members assembled and
were favored with a day of sunshine.
Divine grace was invoked by Deacon Henry F. Kalloch of Tenants Harbor and
after the usual picnic dinner the business meeting was called to order by
Pres. E. J. Kalloch. The same board of officers were elected -
Pres. E. J. Kalloch of Warren; Vice presidents H. F. Kalloch of Tenants
Harbor, Everett Kalloch of South Thomaston, James Kellogg of Cambridge,
Mass., Mrs. Ella Robinson of St. George and D. M. Keller of Rockport; Sec. &
Treas. A. D. Kalloch; Committee on location Mrs. Mabel Rollins of Mass., A.
D. Kalloch and Mr. Robert Simmons of Warren. It was voted to meet at the
same place next year.
Remarks were made by Deacon Kalloch, E. K. Gould Esq. on the genealogy of
the family, Mrs. Mabel Rollins, Pres. E. J. Kalloch, M. Robert Simmons, Miss
Edith Watts, Mrs. Madie Post, Everett Kalloch and Lottie Coombs. Recitations
were given by Adeline Closson and Virginia Radcliff, and music was furnished
by Mrs. Emma Harvie, daughter of Merian and son Dudley. A telegram was
received from Miss Jennie Moody of Newton, Mass. in memory of the Fullerton
Kalloch family of Thomaston.
Miss Marguerite Gould was voted to serve as Family Historian.
The meeting was adjourned and the afternoon was spent socially.
The oldest person present was Deacon H. F. Kalloch 91, the youngest Raymond
Simmons Pendleton of Rockland 16 mo.
