The 124th Kalloch Family Reunion was held on August 24, 1991 at the St. George Grange in St. George, ME. 48 attended.
The oldest attending was Frances Hjerpe, 88, the youngest, Charles Kemos, 5 mos. The furthest traveled were Catherine Olsen, Sun City, Calif., and Dan Andrews, Seattle, Wash. The longest wed couple attending were Paul and Doris Merriam 56 years. There were 2 three-generation families in attendance: Evelyn Kalloch with her son Phillip and grandsons Andrew & Jonathon. Also: Peter Richardson with his daughter Tamsin and grandson Charles.
Julia Hunter and Evelyn Kalloch will be contact people with Nancy Sack in getting the newsletter out.
The coffeepot yielded $112.11 this year.
The present officers were re-elected as no one resigned.
The rest of the meeting was spent discussing the big 125th reunion, and was voted to try for reservations at the Samoset Hotel in Rockland. Evelyn Kalloch volunteered to handle that and the publicity.
There will be historical tours by Dean Mayhew & Peter Richardson.
Dean Mayhew volunteered to engage the Northern Calif. Pipe Band.
A committee meeting for planning was held at Evelyn Kalloch's house after our regular meeting was over.
