123rd Kalloch Reunion Minutes - 1990

(Transcribed from the original handwritten copy.)

The 123rd Kalloch Reunion was held on Sat. Aug. 25, 1990 at the St. George Grange in St. George, Maine.  Approx. 42 people attended.  A catered lunch was served and was so successful a vote was taken to serve one next year.  We have Charlene Black to thank for the luncheon arrangements.

The oldest Kalloch attending was Herbert Kalloch, age 95.  The youngest was Jenna Pettit, age 5.  The longest wed was Paul and Doris Merriam, 55 years.  The newlywed was Donna Kalloch (Perry) Fifield, Aug. 4, 1990.  The furthest traveled: Barbara Loghry from Oregon, the Kellers from Arizona, and the Averys from Calif.

There were two families with 3 generations in attendance: Nancy Kalloch Sack & son & granddaughter; and Delores McCarthy & daughter & granddaughter.

The "Coffeepot" yielded $160.10 this year.

A motion to investigate a possible change in our meeting place was seconded & carried.  A place for children's entertainment would be ideal, it was suggested, in order to attract the younger Kallochs.

Plans for the big 125th Kalloch Reunion were discussed, and the committee met alone together after our regular meeting was over.

The present officers were reelected:
          Anita Fernald, Pres.
          Hazel Hills, Vice Pres.
          Paul Merriam, Treas.
         June Parmenter, Sec.

A motion was sec. & carried to investigate cost for 200.  Evelyn joined the committee for the 125th Kalloch Reunion and will help with arrangements and publicity.

Res. sub.
June Parmenter, Sec.
