(Transcribed from the original typewritten copy.)

Aug. 18, 1979

About 50 attended the 112th Kalloch Reunion which was held at St George Grange Hall.  A lunch was served by the Ladies of the Grange.

Pres. Nancy Sack opened the meeting with a little resume.  Historian Peter Richardson was in charge of roll call.  Sec. & Treas. records were read and accepted.

The Pres. appointed the following nominating committee:
Stanley Kalloch Port St Lucie, Fl.
        Bill Morgan E. Haven, Conn.
        Dean Mayhew Orland, Maine
        Leola Robinson St George, MS.
        Glenice Gross Waterford, Conn.
The nominating committee reported the same slate of officers (at the same pay?) Voted to approve.

Dorothy Pearson displayed a beautiful gold headed cane sent to the reunion by her aunt Mabel Rollins.  It was formerly owned by Joseph Kalloch.

Nancy Sack read many interesting parts of letters she had received.  Also showed her record book of family memorabilia, containing good ideas for saving letters and things we often keep but can’t find.

Mrs. Elmer Keller reported that Henry Keller is in in the Camden Hospital Convalescent Center, and that Henry & Gladys sent greetings to the reunion.

Peter Richardson read a letter sent to the Sec. from Mrs. Long in San Jose, Cal.  Peter also asked if anyone might have any letters written by Judge Gould - he wants to get some leads on his research.  He gave a description on what he wants to accomplish.

Dean Mayhew explained some of the KELLOCK background in Scotland.  A Robert Kalloch was involved in the set up with the Canadian quintuplets, but not sure if he was of our branch of the family.

Oldest member present Henrietta Knowlton 89 Yrs.
Youngest Rebecca Mayhew 5 yrs.

The date for the 1980 reunion is to be decided later.
Motion to adjourn.

Respectfully submitted,
[Hazel Hills, Sec.]

Following the meeting Mr. Jim Skoglund showed slides of cemeteries with some of the older stones of Kalloch ancestors, also houses in this area that were built or owned by many Kallochs.
