4.      William Booth b. ab. 1664, prob. in ME, m. 30 Aug 1693, Hannah (Burroughs?), b. 1658, d. 8 Sep 1729.  William died 7 Aug 1753, Enfield, CT.  Enfield records say he m. 30 Aug. 1693 Hannah, dau. of John Burroughs.  They also record the d. of John Burroughs, 25 May 1693, age ab. 42 yrs, making his b. 1651/2.  The wife of William Booth d. 8 Sept. 1729, aged 71 yrs. Consequently she was b. 1658, too old to be dau. of John Burroughs. Hence it would seem more reasonable to believe that William Booth m. Hannah, the widow, instead of Hannah, the dau. of John Burroughs.
