"of Sherman's Creek". He was evicted by the Quakers from Perry Co., PA, in 1749-50. His will, probated in Cumberland Co. Nov. 14, 1753, left one-half of his estate to his step-daughter, Margaret, and the other half to his daughter Mary. To his
father he left his straight body coat; to his brother Allen he left a jacket and beaver hat.
