Born "out of wedlock" to Lizzie M. Davis (1882-1967), father: Vittorio Testa (1877-1931). Adopted parents: Henry Everett Davis (1860-1934) and Carrie Emma Barter (1860-1913). (Myrtle's birth mother's grandfather Levias W. Davis is a brother to adoptive father Henry Everett Davis). Myrtle Davis had a relationship with a John Flynn while separated from her husband, Charles Robinson. Myrtle was 5 months pregnant with her daughter from John Flynn when she re-married Charles Robinson. The daughter took the last name of Robinson when she was born.
