Notes for Edmund Staples Cowing

Son of Daniel and Dolly (Ulmer) Cowing. Civil War Veteran, Pvt. Co. B, 4th ME Infantry, received a gun shot wound to chest in 1862 at Bull Run. Edmund died at the U.S. National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Togus, Maine.
