(Albert commanded the schooner "Eben C. Brown" in 1869. In 1882, and for nine years, he went as first mate on the schooner "Eliza Levensaler", commanded by his half-brother, Capt. William Singer Kalloch. While the
"Eliza Levensaler" was tied up at the Cushing Wharf in Thomaston, Albert apparently fell overboard and drowned. He was alone on the vessel at the time, so it is not know just what happened.)
