Aug. 20, 1965

The 99th 98th* annual reunion of the Kalloch family met at the St. George Grange Hall, St. George, Me.  At which 32 members of the Kalloch family were present.

We were pleased to welcome several new members, which have not attended before.

After a bountiful picnic dinner, the meeting was called to order by Pres. Charles Kalloch, and prayer was offered by Rev. Maurice Dunbar.

Sec. & Treasurers report read and accepted, and a nominating committee was appointed consisting of Dr. Newman, Mr. Samuel Kalloch and Miss Edith Harris and the same board of officers were elected to serve for the coming year.

Entertainment Committee - Helen Harris, Lucy Hoffses.
Location - Prof. Rollins and Virgil Hills.

A vote was taken to hold the reunion the last Saturday in August.

A letter was read from Mrs. Seth Brown of Norfolk Va. telling of the death of Nettie Gilmore, daughter of Isaac Kalloch, on Aug. 5, 1965 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Richard Long in San Jose, California.

Pres. Kalloch told of being invited to a Russian dance, and all the different dances were danced to the tune of Alexander's Ragtime Band.  Also read a letter from a friend which he had met in Egypt.

Talks were given by Mr. Samuel Kalloch and his brother John.

Anecdotes read by Mrs. Hazel Hills, and a poem by Mrs. Emma Kalloch.

Cards were signed and sent to Prof. Rollins and Mrs. Grace Carey.

Adjourned to meet at St. George Grange Hall Aug. 27,. 1966.
