The 74th [78th*]
reunion of the Kalloch family was held Wednesday, August 29, 1945 at the
home of Arthur D. Kalloch on High St., Thomaston, a bounteous dinner was
spread on the tables on the lawn of which all partook. There were 35
present, the oldest being Miss Mary Kalloch of Warren and the youngest Kurt
Hoffses, so of Mr. & Mrs. Russell Hoffses of Thomaston. Following dinner a
short business meeting was held with Arthur D. Kalloch presiding. A
nominating committee consisting of Mabel K. Rollins, Mary E. Kalloch and
Cora Murdough presented the following officers:

Marguerite Gould gave an interesting sketch of the Kalloch clan originating
in Scotland, part of the MacDonald Clan, others taking part in the program
were F.L.S. Morse, E.B. Rollins, Mary Kalloch, Mabel Rollins and Robert
Carey.
The following deaths were reported:

Two grandchildren of the late Mrs. Adam Kalloch. All stood in a moment of
silent prayer in memory of those passed away.
A rising note of thanks was given the family of Arthur Kalloch for the
hospitality in entertaining the reunion. It was voted to hold the next
reunion at the home of the Secretary and if storming at the Grange Hall in
St. George. The program closed with the singing of America.
