1920

The 52nd [53rd*] annual reunion of the Kalloch family was held at Oakland Park, Aug. 25 1920.
We were favored with a beautiful day and location. About fifty gathered around a bountifully laden table.

In the absence of our president, E. J. Kalloch, Dea. H. F. Kalloch kindly & efficiently presided over the business meeting.

Minutes of the last meeting read and accepted.

Nominating committee reported recommending the same board of officers as last year, and that we meet in the same place.
Voted to adopt their recommendation.

The following deaths were announced
Mrs. Sarah Kalloch, St. George
Miss Jennie Davis     "         "
Mrs. Mary Kalloch formerly of S. Thomaston
Mr. George Wing, Morrill
Susanna Hart
Kenneth Whitcomb died Mar. 21, 1919, this should have been reported last year.

Mrs. Brown of Belfast gave a record of the Gilbert Kalloch branch of the family. Much work has been involved in this splendid genealogy and is much appreciated.
Voted to extend to Mrs. Brown our thanks for her efforts.

Dea. Kalloch expressed the wish that other braches of the family might do a similar work. He also told how it came about that the name is spelt in so many different ways, a fact that is much to be regretted. He stated that Fullerton Kalloch and his two brothers each spelt their names differently.
