1912 - Glen Cove Grange Hall - Aug. 28, 1912.

The 44th [45th*] annual reunion of the Kalloch family was held at Penobscot Grange Hall, Glen Cove, Aug. 28, 1912. The attendance was smaller than usual, about fifty being present.

After a bountiful dinner served in the banquet hall, to which all did justice, the business meeting was called to order by the President H. F. Kalloch of Tenants Harbor, and the report of the preceding year was read and accepted.

The following committees were appointed.

Com. on Nomination
Capt. Edward A. Watts, St. George, Chairman.
S. F. Kalloch, Warren
F. S. Kalloch, Rockland

Com. on location
E. J. Kalloch, Warren
William Kalloch, Rockland
Niven Kalloch, Rockland

H. F. Kalloch after several yeas of faithful and efficient service as President resigned.

The following officers for ensuing year were elected
President E. J. Kalloch, Warren

Vice Presidents
F. A. Kalloch, Thomaston
D. M. Kalloch, West Rockport
F. S. Kalloch, Rockland
J. H. Kalloch, South Thomaston
L. F. Kalloch, Warren

Secretary
Jennie G. Moody, Thomaston

The Committee on Location suggested Crescent Beach for our next annual gathering.

The Committee on Obituaries reported the deaths
Mr. Jesse Sleeper, So., Thomaston
Mrs. Ann Mansfield, Salem, Mass.

Interesting remarks were made by the retiring President H. F. Kalloch, E. J. Kalloch, Niven Kalloch, Larry Kalloch, F. S. Kalloch.

There were three present who attended the first Kalloch reunion held at the home of Jackson Watts, St. George forty four years ago.

The gathering of 1912 was considered by all present to be a most enjoyable occasion.
