The 100th reunion of the Kalloch Family was held on Saturday, Aug. 28, 1967 at the home of Margaret Kalloch Newman on Old Country Road. Picnic dinner was served on the lawn, after which some 58 guests went to the living room of Mrs. Newman's home for the program and business meeting.
It was a great honor to have Mrs. Norma Millay Ellis present and she read poems of her sister, Edna St. Vincent Millay.
Mrs. Mabel K. Rollins read some of the history of the Kalloch Family followed by remarks by Samuel Kalloch of Poughkeepsie N.Y.
The members present coming the longest distance was Mrs. Seth Brown, Norfolk, Va. Others came from New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire.
Among the older members present were Mrs. Emma Kalloch of Warren, 96 yr; Miss Jennie Moody, Thomaston, 91 1/2; and Rev. Maurice Dunbar, Thomaston, 93 yrs.
